resins in the Somos 9420 replicates polypropylene's
tensile strength, elongation at yield, and polypropylene
parts. These resins are high-speed liquid photo polymers
that produce robust, functional, and accurate parts
using Stereolithography machines.
An
all around good material and the best choice for resiliency,
flexibility and overall strength. This is a "Flex
Resin" and wherever you require rigidity the better
choice is the "White" 14120
material.
14120
is excellent for fit and engineering check models because
the white pigment helps to control the laser and therefore
has better "Z Height" control and less laser
bleed over.
White
resins took some getting used to by the clients, however
it was all easier to manage on our side and overall
the clients have made the change from the clear resins
to these new brite white resins happily. The SLA parts
show detail and and better strength.
